Trying new beauty products is all in a day’s work for us here at a-beauty. We love putting products through their paces all in the name of glowing skin, better hair, fluffier brows, and everything in between. Every now and again there are products that truly impress us and earn themselves a permanent spot in our routines. This new series is our chance to share with you our current beauty obsessions for the month.

This April, we’ve tweaked our regimens to tackle the early signs of transeasonal dryness, have found a foundation that seriously impressed us, and fell for a natural shampoo and conditioner.

My April obsession: Ere Perez Oat Milk Foundation

"I have used so many amazing foundations, tinted moisturisers and BB creams over the years but I am currently obsessing over the Oat Milk Foundation from Ere Perez. It has the finish of a heavier foundation whilst being lightweight and durable. I am currently mixing Honey and Chai to make the perfect colour whilst in between seasons. I mix the two colours on the back of my hand before blending the foundation onto my face with a damp beauty blender for a dewy yet even application."

"If I’m going for a less is more look I’ll add a little to my morning moisturiser and use a bit of concealer to get rid of any redness in my skin."

My April obsession: Salt by Hendrix Babetown Booster Base Oil

"Since autumn hit, my skin has started to struggle to retain moisture so I've had to make some changes in my skincare routine. Adding this pure squalane oil has been a game-changer for me. It is super nourishing without being greasy and provides a lovely dewy base that doesn't interfere with my makeup application. I also like that while the product is 100% plant based, it doesn't have that earthy herbal scent you'd expect."

My April obsession: Mukti Organics Botanique Shampoo and Conditioner

"This haircare duo has a subtle and fresh cucumber scent and is great for those who aren't big on an overpowering smell. A little goes a long way so you feel like you get the most out of the product. I loved that my hair felt super clean without feeling stripped. I found this gentle duo to be a lot more hydrating than other natural shampoos and conditioners I've tried."

My April obsession: Stass & Co The Body Brush

"I’ve tried a few body brushes before and I love that this one was on the softer side. The size, round shape and handle makes it so easy to use. I follow up my dry body brushing sessions with a jojoba oil, which helps leave my skin feeling super soft and nourished."
