We are currently on the hunt for two amazing new interns to join the a-team one day per week at our HQ in Bundall on the Gold Coast.

 

Social Media/Content Creator Intern 

You will be working alongside our existing team to spread the a-beauty word and increase brand awareness through various means. We want someone who possesses excellent communication skills with a positive attitude and an appetite for challenge and growth. Your role with include the below, amongst other things:

  • Create and ideate content across various social media platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Threads, Pinterest and X (formerly known as Twitter)
  • Edit reels 
  • Research trending sounds and themes on a weekly basis 
  • Writing monthly social media reports for internal presentation to the marketing team
  • Paid Digital Media experience 

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Knowledge and use of Shopify
  • Experience managing various social media platforms
  • Experience in writing/sub-editing
  • Excellent and professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with Klaviyo
  • Graphic design, photography and video production is advantageous but not essential

Content/Copywriting Intern

We are seeking a Copywriter Intern to join our intimate team for a 3 month internship where you'll gain real-world, hands-on experience working alongside professionals at a company that recognises hard work and values people. We are seeking someone to join us one day per week in the office to work on various copy writing tasks, including but not limited to:

  • Researching and compiling articles and writing content for our editorial vertical, The Edit
  • Writing copy for social media captions
  • Compiling press releases
  • Assisting with writing and proofreading all consumer facing emails

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Knowledge and use of Shopify
  • Experience managing various social media platforms
  • Experience in writing/sub-editing
  • Excellent and professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with Klaviyo
  • Graphic design, photography and video production is advantageous but not essential
  • SEO knowledge and use of keywords

Need to know:

Both positions will be based on the Gold Coast at our office in Bundall. Applicants are required to have their own laptop for use in the office.

These positions would be well suited to a university students looking to gain experience in their chosen field. These positions are unpaid however you will have access to free products and be able to use this as a stepping stone for your next career move.
