a-beauty stands for Australian beauty. But it’s more than a term that refers to beauty products from Australia. It also embodies everything that is great and unique about Australia’s approach to beauty, from our synergistic laid-back approach to life and beauty - we want to look good while still going out and enjoying our lives - to our commitment to quality products that use the best ingredients (including native Australian plants) and deliver impressive results.

How do I spell a beauty?
ABEAUTY, A BEAUTY, a-BEAUTY or AyeBEAUTY? The correct way to spell a-beauty is with a hyphen. Here at abeauty.co, we use all lower case to spell a-beauty.
What is the correct way of pronouncing abeauty?
A-beauty is pronounced [AYE] + [BYOO] + [TEE]. Think of it like saying ‘A beauty therapist’ but just leave out the word ‘therapist’.
What does the ‘a’ stand for in abeauty?
The ‘a’ in ‘a-beauty’ stands for Australian.
How did you get the name abeauty?
The term a-beauty is inspired by the term ‘k-beauty’, aka Korean beauty. K-beauty came about after the world started to take note of the quirky trends coming out of the country (think 10-step routines, snail mucus serums, bubble masks, etc). Similarly, Australia’s unique approach to beauty started grabbing attention around the world (however, unlike k-beauty, a-beauty takes a much more minimalist attitude) and this trend was given the term ‘a-beauty’.
Here at abeauty.co, we are dedicated entirely to supporting and selling Australian beauty, thus the name a-beauty seemed like the perfect fit!
Who is a-beauty’s founder?
a-beauty was founded by Jamee Parker in 2020. A Gold Coast entrepreneur and mother of two, Jamee has been working in the beauty and wellness industry well before she’d even graduated from high school. Her mum, Michelle Doherty, founded iconic Australian beauty brand Alpha-H in 1995 and Jamee carved out her career working in the family business.
Jamee has also worked with high-profile beauty brands both locally and internationally, including Grazia magazine, Sephora, Bloomingdales, Cult Beauty and Adore Beauty. It was during a work trip overseas to launch Alpha-H within Sephora globally that Jamee came up with the idea of abeauty.co. She noticed a lot of global interest in the unique Aussie approach to beauty and was equally excited to celebrate all the incredible brands that hail from Australia but may not always get the international recognition they deserve.

That’s why every brand and product you’ll find mentioned on a-beauty has been through a rigorous testing process prior to its addition to our curated collection. As a result, you can rest assured that any brand or product which is a-beauty approved has been thoroughly investigated and tested for its ethos and “Aussie-ness”, ensuring you have the transparency you both want and need.
Are all products on a-beauty authentic?
Absolutely! We are official stockists for all the brands you see on a-beauty. When you shop with us you can be confident that you are buying authentic and genuine products from Australian-only brands.

Do I need an account to place an order?
No, you can checkout as a guest. However, having an a-beauty account allows you to save your payment and delivery preferences, check out faster, manage and track your orders easily and receive exclusive email offers and previews. You can also earn Beauty Bucks as part of our Rewards Progam if you have an account with us.

We do! Our Rewards Program allows you to earn Beauty Bucks with every order, which you can then redeem for a discount off future orders.
How do I earn Beauty Bucks?
The more you shop, the greater the rewards! For every $1 spent, you can earn 5 beauty bucks. Plus, we also offer bonus points for liking us on Facebook and Instagram, signing up to our e-newsletter, reviewing products, and referring friends. We’ll also give you 200 beauty bucks every time it’s your birthday! Once you earn enough beauty bucks, you can redeem them for a discount off your next order.
How do I place an order?
To place an order:
'Sign In' to your account if you have one.
Click ‘Add to Bag’ for all items you’d like to purchase.
Once you've placed all of the items that you want to buy in your cart, head to the 'Checkout'.
You can use the guest checkout if you don't have an account.
You'll then be able to finalise your order by entering your payment and delivery details.
Can I change or cancel my order?
If you want to change or cancel your order, please email us as soon as possible at firstname.lastname@example.org with your order details and we will try to help you as best we can. However, please note there is a high chance that your order may have already been processed and shipped, in which case we may not be able to make any changes.
How much does shipping cost?
We offer Free Shipping for orders within Australian that add up to $35 or more! We also offer Free Exrpess Shipping on all Australian orders of $75 or more.
For all other orders for delivery within Australia, we offer two options:
- Australia Post standard shipping $8.00 (estimated 3-6 business days)
- Australia Post express delivery $12.00 (estimated 1-2 business days).
When will I receive my order?
We send our orders via Australia Post within Australia. For standard shipping, orders generally take 3-6 business days to arrive. For express delivery, shipping generally takes 1-2 business days. Delivery times are estimated from the time your parcel is dispatched, not from when your order is placed.
To qualify for express delivery, your order must be placed prior to 12pm AEST Monday to Thursday and is subject to Startrack's Express Services terms and conditions. If placed after this time, your order will be processed the next business day (e.g. orders placed on Friday will be processed the following Monday).
Deliveries are conducted during business hours, Monday – Friday. Excludes weekends and public holidays. Transit times are estimated and may be affected by factors out of our control and may change without notice.

Do you ship to PO Boxes or Parcel Lockers?
Unfortunately we are unable to ship to PO Boxes or Parcel Lockers.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we do! See below for our delivery fees for orders outside of Australia:
Australia Post Standard Delivery to New Zealand $15.00.
Australia Post Express Delivery to New Zealand $25.00.
Australia Post Standard Delivery to rest of the World $25.00.
Australia Post Express Delivery to rest of the World $35.00
*Please note some items are unable to be shipping internationally. These items include Fragrance and Candles. Customers will be contacted if there is something within their order that is not able to be shipped.
How do I track my order?
Once your order is shipped you will receive a confirmation email from us which will include your tracking number. You can track the progress of your order through Australia Post using the tracking number provided in your order confirmation email.
I put in the wrong shipping address. How do I change it?
Please email us as soon as possible at email@example.com with your correct shipping address and we will try to adjust your order before it is processed and sent for delivery. Please note that if your order has already been shipped, we unfortunately will not be able to amend your shipping address.
Is Click & Collect available?
Yes, Click & Collect is available from our Gold Coast warehouse. Your order will usually be ready within 48 hours after placing an order. Once your order is ready for collection, we will send you a ‘Ready for Collection’ email to let you know when you can visit our warehouse to collect it. Please do not come to collect your order until you have received our Ready for Collection email.
To collect your order you will need to show a copy of your ‘Ready for Collection’ email (either a print out or on your phone) and Photo Identification.
How does Click & Collect work?
Click & Collect allows you to save on shipping costs and receive your order sooner by picking up your order direct from our a-beauty warehouse. You can select Click & Collect under shipping method at checkout.
We currently only offer Click & Collect from our Gold Coast warehouse in Bundall during office hours.
Can I nominate someone else to collect my Click & Collect order?
Yes, someone else may pick up your Click & Collect however you will need to email us at firstname.lastname@example.org with their full name. Please wait for confirmation via reply email from us before sending them to collect the order. They will need to present the ‘Ready for Collection’ email and some photo ID upon collection.
What is your address?
The a-beauty warehouse is located in Bundall. Once we receive your Click and Collect order we will send you our full address and open hours.
Is your packaging eco-friendly?
Yes! All of our a-beauty orders are packaged in a recyclable cardboard box with recyclable, renewable and biodegradable paper filling. Plus, both the box and paper consist of more than 50% partially recycled content and are 100% recyclable.
What currency is used on this site?
All orders are calculated in Australian Dollars (AUD).
What payment methods are available at a-beauty?
We offer a range of payment methods at abeauty.co. You can choose any of the following payment methods at checkout to complete your order:

Can I pay using PayPal?

Do you sell gift cards?
Yes we do! Our Virtual Gift Cards are available in $50, $100, $150, $200, and $250 amounts and can be purchased here.
Our a-beauty e-gift cards can be used to pay for part or all of your order.
How do I use coupon codes?
Coupon codes must be applied at checkout. Please note, only ONE coupon code will be valid per transaction.
Can I use multiple discount codes on a single order?
Unfortunately, our system only allows for one coupon code to be used per order. However, should you qualify for free shipping (we offer Free Shipping on all Australian orders over $35), this will automatically be applied to your order and you will still be able to use a discount coupon code at checkout.
RETURNS & REFUNDS
I don’t like a product that I ordered. Can I return it?
Unfortunately we do not offer refunds for change of mind.
One of my products arrived damaged. Can I get a refund?
Yes. Products that are damaged and packaging that is faulty qualifies for our 30-day return policy. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need to supply proof of purchase.
How do I return a product or request a refund?
You can return an item for the following reasons:
- the product is damaged or the packaging is faulty;
- the product caused you to suffer an allergic reaction; or
- you received the wrong product.
You have 30 days after the date you purchased your item to request a return. To request a refund or to return a product, please email us at email@example.com.
How long will it take to process my return?
Whilst we try to process returns as soon as possible, please allow up to 5 business days for your return to be finalised.
